The Inspiration behind this piece
"Honey Bee" was originally a commissioned piece for a bee keeper who is very passionate about her bees! I studied the anatomy of the honey bee before beginning to make sure I got every detail correct. The original artwork was done in colored pencil and took more than 40 hours to complete.
