I am often asked, how much will you charge me to paint [insert whatever subject here]. Well, it's not really as simple as having a set price for any painting. Things to take into consideration are the size, colors, complexity, amount of detail desired, etc. Am I designing the piece, or do you have a photograph or a logo that you want me to reproduce? All of these things factor into just how much time it will take to complete the work, the cost of the materials needed, and ultimately the total cost of the project.

If you are interested in commissioning Michelle for a project, whether it is a wall mural or a canvas, please read the information below and submit the contact form. We will reach out to you as soon as possible to discuss your application.

What you can expect:

Once your application has been accepted, Michelle will contact you to discuss your wants and will ask you for 3-5 CLEAR reference photos. She will provide you with a written estimate within one week of your consultation. In general, a signed agreement and $500 deposit will be required before any sketches begin. A rough sketch will be presented to you via email for approval before any painting begins. No more than 2 revisions will be made to the sketch. If additional revisions are necessary, they will be billed at a rate of $100 per revision. A 50% (less $500) deposit is due at least 7 days prior to the start of any on site mural work. Final payment is due upon completion of the piece, prior to shipping or upon completion of the mural.

Canvas paintings will be created using professional quality acrylic paint on stretched gallery wrapped canvas. Final pieces will be presented unframed, unless otherwise agreed upon for an additional fee.

Canvases are available in all shapes and sizes. Michelle will discuss your options with you during your initial consultation.
